I created an organizational chart for glazing. There is a space for a drawing of your piece, and next to it is a space for names of glazes used.
Remember to write how you applied it as well:
Was it brushed, sprayed, or dipped? Which glaze was applied first, which applied second/over? Where was it applied (inside only, lip only, etc)?
After the firing I'll jot reflections about the fired results in the "notes". This helps me remember which combinations and techniques I like....or what to never do again!
